Spicing Up Boxed Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 5 slices bacon, diced
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Do not drain. Add onions and carrots and stir fry until onions are soft, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Remove pan from heat. Add stuffing and mix well. Add 1/4 cup water and mix until well combined. If stuffing is dry, add more water until sufficiently moist. We like our stuffing a little dry so that it's not mushy, but it's totally up to you.
