Steak Pizzaiola

Ingredients

  • 1 large chuck steak
  • 1 (32 oz.) can tomato puree or chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Take chuck steak and cut into pieces to fit in saucepan.
  2. Mix tomatoes with garlic, oregano, salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour a little tomato mixture on the bottom of pan.
  4. Place steak and rest of tomato sauce in pan.
  5. Cover and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, over low heat, until steak is tender.
  6. Serve over macaroni.
