Steamed Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. small fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Snap off tough ends of asparagus.
  2. Remove scales with a vegetable peeler or knife, if desired.
  3. Arrange asparagus in a steamer over boiling water.
  4. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  5. Transfer to serving dish and drizzle with butter.
