Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 4 onions
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. baking grease
  • 3/4 c. water
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice vegetables.
  2. Place baking grease in bottom of large iron skillet.
  3. Layer in this order in frypan: potatoes, onions (sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley).
  4. Repeat.
  5. After all layers go on, pour water over.
  6. Cover skillet and cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes.
  7. Serves 8.
