Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 c. nuts (halves)

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, salt, 1/4 cup water and honey in skillet or pan; heat at 250° until a little of mixture dropped in water forms soft ball.
  2. Turn off heat.
  3. Stir in vanilla and nuts; continue stirring until thick and creamy.
  4. Turn out on waxed paper and separate nuts with 2 forks to cool and harden.
