Ingredients

  • 4 c. wheat flour
  • 4 c. white flour
  • 5 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/2 c. warm water

Instructions

  1. Place flour in a large bowl.
  2. Add baking powder and salt, making well in center of flour mixture.
  3. Put in shortening and add warm water.
  4. Work with hands and then knead until smooth.
  5. Form into small ball, about golf ball size.
  6. Roll out until thin.
  7. Cook on hot grill until lightly brown.
