Turkish Bread Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Turkish bread, cut into 1cm-thick slices (just less than 1/4-inch)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil, I use extra virgin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400degF) then place bread, in a single layer, on 2 large baking trays.
  2. Combine oil, coriander, cumin, cardamom and salt and pepper in a bowl and brush both cut sides of bread with oil mixture.
  3. Bake bread for 10 minutes then turn and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden and crisp- set aside to cool then serve.
