  • chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line a large bowl with Saran Wrap.

Tips & Substitutions

To achieve the best texture, make sure your ice creams are slightly softened before pressing them into the bowl. If you're out of raspberry sherbet, consider using strawberry or mixed berry sherbet as a substitute. For a fun twist, add a layer of crushed cookies in between the ice cream and sherbet layers for added crunch, similar to the layers in Aunt Wanda's Play Dough Recipe.

Serving Suggestions

Slice the Watermelon Bombe into wedges and serve on chilled plates for an impressive presentation. It pairs beautifully with a light summer salad or fresh fruit platter for a refreshing dessert option. Consider serving it alongside English Trifle for a delightful dessert spread at your next gathering.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container or wrap tightly with plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn. The Watermelon Bombe can be kept in the freezer for up to one week. To serve, simply remove from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to make slicing easier.
