Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups seedless watermelon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 drops red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Boil sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is clear; set aside to cool.
  2. In a blender, combine seedless watermelon, salt, lemon juice, lime juice, and red food coloring.
  3. Add the cooled sugar syrup to the blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  5. Break the frozen mixture into chunks and place them into glasses.
  6. Pour 7-Up over the chunks, blending in the slush before serving.
