World Peace Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Potatoes
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. *Preheat oven to 400.
  2. *Peel and thinly slice potatoes.
  3. *De-seed jalapenos and dice.
  4. *Grate cheese.
  5. Cover bottom of baking dish with potatoes. You can use a pie plate or a cake pan-it all depends on how many servings you need.
  6. Over potatoes, layer grated cheese. Sprinkle with jalapenos.
  7. Layer more potatoes. Lather, rinse, repeat until you have filled the pan, omitting the last layer of cheese.
  8. Pour heavy cream all over, until it reaches about 1/2 up the side of the dish.
  9. Add the remaining cheese and diced jalapenos.
  10. Bake at 400 until a knife slides easily into the center, or until the chunk that you took out of the corner is cooked.
  11. Don't lie, you know you totally did. Just rearrange the potatoes into the corner and nobody will ever know.
  12. Feel free to add bacon, omit the jalapenos, use different cheese- mix it up! Make it yours! Facilitate World Peace in your home or next potluck.
