- Warm your oil and butter in a pan. Brown the zeera in the oil, stir in your chicken pieces. Put in the sliced onions, green chillies (slit in the middle) and salt to taste. Cover the lid and leave it on slow heat for 10 minutes. Do not put any water because when the chicken is covered with all the ingredients, water will come out itself.
- After 10 minutes stir the chicken and add the potatoes in for another 10 minutes. Later check the potatoes if they are ready and if they are switch off the fire. Since you did not put in any water you do not have to let it dry.
