Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Place first five ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until broccoli is crisp-tender, 5 minutes. Drain. Toss with pepper flakes.
