3 Hour Chunk Pickles

Ingredients

  • 5 qt. pickles, cut in 1/2-inch chunks
  • 5 c. vinegar
  • 6 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 4 1/3 tsp. mustard seed

Instructions

  1. Wash and chunk the pickles; soak in salt water for 3 hours. Drain.
  2. Add ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Pack in prepared jars.
