Ingredients

  • chicken pieces (legs, thighs, split breasts, wings)
  • 40 cloves garlic (about 3 heads)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Put chicken parts in a roasting pan.
  2. Break heads of garlic apart; do not peel.
  3. Add garlic to the pan with chicken.
  4. Pour wine and lemon juice over chicken and garlic.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Cover pan with foil.
  7. Bake at 350° to 375°F for 1 hour.
  8. Remove foil and brown under the broiler.
