Ingredients

  • 3 slender carrots
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Slice carrots at an angle, very thin, enough to measure 1 cup. Heat oil in skillet.
  2. Add carrots and other ingredients; cover and lightly steam for 6 minutes, or until tender, stirring once or twice.
  3. Makes 2 servings.
  4. May have to add more water.
