A Basic Cucumber Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slice Sliced bread
  • 2 Cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 tsp Magic Salt (seasoned salt)

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumbers into about 1mm thick (you can use a vegetable slicer or mandoline).
  2. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt (not listed in the ingredient list), mix it up with your hands, and let sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the ingredients to make the sauce.
  4. When the cucumbers are ready, drain and squeeze them out tightly.
  5. Mix the cucumbers with the sauce.
  6. Spread the cucumbers on two slices of bread and top them with the remaining slices.
  7. Cut off the crusts.
  8. Cut each sandwich in half and they're ready.
  9. Put on a plate with some baby salad leaves and tomato (if you have them) for a nice presentation!
