Amazing Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups peeled sliced apples
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons self rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 -2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup flour,1 tbsp sugar, egg, shortening, and water.
  2. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  3. Pour batter into 9x1 1/4 inch pan.
  4. Combine pie filling: apples, lemon juice,sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  5. Pour into center of batter.
  6. DO NOT STIR!
  7. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  8. Bake at 425°F for 35-40 minutes.
  9. This pie will make its own crust.
