Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 pkg. one-step angel food cake mix

Instructions

  1. Put the cherry pie filling into a bowl and cut up the cherries.
  2. Stir by hand until well blended.
  3. Grease the bottom only of a 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for 25 minutes, or until the top begins to brown.
  6. Allow to cool.
  7. Cut into bars or serve as a dessert, optionally with cream.
