Angel Bars
Sweet and coconutty angel bars with cherry filling, perfect for a quick dessert or snack, appealing to coconut lovers and those craving fruity, fluffy treats.
Ingredients
- 1 (No. 2) can cherry pie filling
- 1 can Angel Flake coconut
- 1 pkg. one-step angel food cake mix ⓘ
Instructions
- Put the cherry pie filling into a bowl and cut up the cherries.
- Stir by hand until well blended.
- Grease the bottom only of a 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake in a 350°F oven for 25 minutes, or until the top begins to brown.
- Allow to cool.
- Cut into bars or serve as a dessert, optionally with cream.
