Apple Bread Pudding 2 Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 c. Bread cubes
  • 2 c. Water, or possibly skim lowfat milk (warm)
  • 2/3 c. Brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 2 x Apples, sliced thin
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 x Egg whites

Instructions

  1. Combine bread cubes, raisins, and apples in large bowl.
  2. Add in water or possibly lowfat milk and sugar.
  3. Mix thoroughly and let stand for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Add in beaten egg whites (just til foamy), cinnamon, and vanilla.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour into a 1 1/2-qt sprayed casserole.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
  8. to 1 hr., till set and lightly browned
