Apple Chuckles

Ingredients

  • firm red-skinned apples
  • smooth peanut butter
  • miniature marshmallows
  • lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Slice apples vertically into 1/2-inch slices.
  2. Remove seed. Sprinkle on lemon juice to keep apples from turning brown.
  3. Spread 1/4-inch layer of peanut butter on one side of each slice.
  4. You will need two slices for each Chuckle.
  5. Nestle 4 marshmallows into peanut butter and a slice.
  6. Place another slice of apple, peanut butter side down, on top of the marshmallows.
  7. Press the two slices gently together.
