Apple-Filled Squash

Ingredients

  • 3 acorn squash
  • 5 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 (18 oz.) can pie sliced apples
  • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Halve squash lengthwise; remove seeds. Brush with 2 tablespoons of the butter and sprinkle with salt. Place, cut side down, in a large baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
