Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • cinnamon
  • cloves
  • Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 4 to 5 apples, chopped
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Mix Knox unflavored gelatin with cold water until dissolved.
  2. Combine sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Add chopped apples to the sugar mixture and toss to coat.
  4. Mix the gelatin into the apple mixture.
  5. Pour the filling into a prepared pie shell (bottom and top).
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until the crust is golden and the filling is set, about 35 minutes.
