Apple Roll Dumplings
Ingredients
Instructions
- Cook water and sugar to thin syrup.
- Roll dough about 1/8-inch thick.
- Spread on this chopped apples. Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg and roll as for jelly roll.
- Slice about 2 inches thick and place in pan, flat side down.
- Put lump of butter on each.
- Pour over all thin syrup and bake in a moderate oven.
- Serve with cream.
