Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped apples, peeled and cored
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • salt to taste
  • 1 stick margarine
  • biscuit dough the size of a baseball

Instructions

  1. Roll out biscuit dough in an oblong shape on a floured surface.
  2. Spread chopped apples evenly over the dough.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Start at one edge and roll the dough into a jelly roll.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into 3 or 4 pieces.
  6. Place the pieces into a baking dish.
  7. Dot with margarine.
  8. Cover with boiling water.
  9. Bake at 400°F until browned, about 30 minutes.
