Ingredients

  • 5 c. apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded wheat cereal, finely crushed
  • 1/4 c. (4 Tbsp.) margarine, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a large bowl, mix apples, 1/4 cup brown sugar, lemon juice, tapioca and cinnamon. Set aside for 10 minutes.
