Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rice crackers (crushed arare)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar.
  2. Add flour and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Stir in arare.
  4. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
