Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. old-fashioned Quaker oats (2 c.)
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 6 oz. brown sugar (3/4 c. )
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Warm fat sufficiently to rub into oats.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Press into flat pan.
  4. Bake at 400° until golden, about 30 minutes.
