Avocado Surprise

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh crabmeat or 3 (6 oz.) cans
  • 3 large or 4 small avocados
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, chili sauce and relish in small bowl. Stir a generous amount of dressing into crabmeat to moisten it well.
  2. Cut avocados in half lengthwise; remove pits.
  3. Fill each half with a portion of the crabmeat mixture.
  4. Mix eggs and dill together; sprinkle over crabmeat.
  5. Spoon the remaining dressing over the chopped eggs.
  6. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
