Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. lukewarm water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
  • 16 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix and let set 1 hour, then roll and cut.
  2. Let rise a little. Usually by the time you get them cut, the first ones are ready to fry.
  3. Fry at about 375° and then glaze them.
