Instructions
- Mix and sift dry ingredients.
- Add shortening and mix with pastry blender or fork.
- Add milk all at once and stir quickly. Some flour may need a bit more milk to make soft dough.
- Turn onto floured board and knead 5 to 6 times.
- Roll to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with biscuit cutter.
- Bake at 475° for 5 minutes.
