Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c.milk

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into bowl.
  2. Cut in shortening.
  3. Add egg and milk.
  4. Knead lightly.
