Basic 2 Layer Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 c. self-rising flour (Adluh)
  • 3/4 c. milk (1/2 Pet evaporated and 1/4 water)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Blend sugar and Crisco, adding sugar slowly.
  2. Mix well. Add eggs
  3. one at a time.
  4. Beat until smooth.
  5. Alternate flour, milk and vanilla.
  6. Bake at 375° until done, about 20 minutes.
