Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 3/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse corn meal.
  3. Add milk and stir with fork until dough follows fork around bowl.
  4. Then knead on lightly floured board 1/2 minute.
  5. Bake in your desired shape at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes.
