Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 3 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shortening, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. quick or old fashioned oats (uncooked)

Instructions

  1. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Cut in shortening until it looks like coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in oats. Store in airtight container.
