- Get oil to smoking point in thick bottomed vessel.
- Put in mustard seed.
- Will start crackling.
- Put in onions and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
- Put potatoes into sauteed garlic and onions with salt, sugar and paprika.
- Cook on slow fire until potatoes are cooked, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
