Ingredients

  • 1 lb. potatoes
  • 1 spoonful mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. onion
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Instructions

  1. Get oil to smoking point in thick bottomed vessel.
  2. Put in mustard seed.
  3. Will start crackling.
  4. Put in onions and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Put potatoes into sauteed garlic and onions with salt, sugar and paprika.
  6. Cook on slow fire until potatoes are cooked, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
