Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 jar mild salsa
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • garlic (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Melt Velveeta cheese in the oven.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet, adding optional garlic and onion to taste.
  4. Drain excess fat from the beef.
  5. Add salsa to the cooked beef and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the two cans of Ro-Tel tomatoes to the melted cheese.
  7. Combine the beef mixture with the cheese and tomato mixture.
  8. Let the combined mixture sit in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with nacho chips.
