Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • beef bouillon (2 beef cubes plus 2 c. water
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon, crumble and set aside.
  2. Brown meat in bacon grease.
  3. Add onion, bay leaf, bouillon and bacon.
  4. Cook on low heat 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Serve over rice.
  6. (Does well in crock-pot.)
