Beer Pretzels

Instructions
- Mix beer, yeast and sugar together until yeast is dissolved and foamy.
- Add flour; mix well.
- Knead about 10 minutes.
- Cover and let rise until doubled.
- Cover a cookie sheet with foil and grease well.
- Punch dough down; break off walnut sized pieces of dough and roll into rope, then shape into pretzel.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake at 475° about 12 minutes.
- Best eaten while still warm as the pretzels get tough as they sit.
