Ingredients

  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons American-style (yellow) Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Sliced
  • 1 whole Skin On Salmon Fillet

Instructions

  1. First, make the sauce:
  2. Combine all the ingredients except the salmon in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Simmer until the butter is melted and the flavors are well blended, about 15 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, start your grill.
  5. We use a charcoal Weber, but I guess you could use a gas grill, just as long as it has a cover.
  6. When the coals are HOT, brush the salmon fillet with a generous amount of sauce.
  7. Put the salmon skin side down on the grill and cover.
  8. Cook for 8 -10 minutes (we like ours on the medium rare side).
  9. Uncover the grill and slide a large spatula between the skin and the meat.
  10. Leaving the skin on the grill, remove it onto a platter.
