- Make yeast bread dough 2 hours before needed.
- Let rise.
- (May be made and refrigerated ahead of time.)
- Shred or cut cabbage coarsely.
- Cook cabbage and onions in a small amount of water; season to taste.
- When tender, drain well.
- Brown hamburger in skillet, breaking it apart as it browns.
- Drain well and add to cabbage and onions.
