Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 recipe yeast rolls dough

Instructions

  1. Make yeast bread dough 2 hours before needed.
  2. Let rise.
  3. (May be made and refrigerated ahead of time.)
  4. Shred or cut cabbage coarsely.
  5. Cook cabbage and onions in a small amount of water; season to taste.
  6. When tender, drain well.
  7. Brown hamburger in skillet, breaking it apart as it browns.
  8. Drain well and add to cabbage and onions.
