Big Hotcakes are fluffy, satisfying pancakes perfect for breakfast or brunch, served rolled with jelly, sour cream, syrup, or with sausage for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs, sifted flour, salt, and milk together in a bowl.
  2. Heat a large skillet and melt a little butter in the pan.
  3. Pour a thin layer of batter into the skillet and cook until set.
  4. Flip the hotcake and cook the other side until golden.
  5. Serve rolled with jelly and sour cream, or with syrup, powdered sugar, and sausage.
