Biscuit Tostadas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa, divided
  • 1 large tube can biscuits
  • 2 c. Colby-Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. In skillet, cook beef over medium heat until well done, drain.
  2. Add 1 1/2 cups salsa and heat through.
  3. Split each biscuit in half; flatten into 4-inch rounds on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Top with meat mixture, cheese, lettuce and remaining salsa.
