Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • 1/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Heat oven at 450°.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a bowl.
  3. Blend in sour cream.
  4. Stir in milk to make a soft dough.
  5. Put a small amount of flour on a board.
  6. Turn dough out onto the board and knead gently for a few minutes. Shape dough into 1/2-inch biscuits.
  7. Bake on lightly buttered baking sheet for 10 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
