Blackberry Dumpling

Ingredients

  • 1 c. blackberries
  • 1 c. liquid from blackberry can
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 count) can biscuits
  • 1 large pat butter
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. In large pot, mix blackberries in their own juice, water and sugar together.
  2. Cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Cover pot.
  4. Cut biscuits into 4 parts.
  5. Add to blackberry mixture.
  6. Stir occasionally. Cook for 12 minutes or until it is tender.
  7. Serve hot or cold.
