Blackberry Lemonade

A refreshing blackberry lemonade combines sweet blackberries with tangy lemon for a cool, fruity beverage perfect for summer gatherings or casual sipping.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 pt. basket fresh blackberries
  • 16 oz. frozen blackberries, thawed
  • 12 cups water
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans frozen lemonade concentrate

Instructions

  1. Puree the blackberries in a food processor.
  2. Strain the pureed berries through a sieve, pressing on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract juice.
  3. Transfer the strained blackberry juice to a large pitcher.
  4. Add 12 cups of water, the frozen lemonade concentrate, and 3 tablespoons of sugar to the pitcher.
  5. Taste the lemonade and add more sugar if desired.
  6. Stir well and serve chilled.
