Brandy Peaches

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. sugar
  • 1/2 pt. water

Instructions

  1. Boil together the sugar and water.
  2. Add peaches and boil until a straw can easily penetrate to the stone.
  3. Remove the peaches and place them into jars.
  4. Mix equal parts of syrup and brandy and pour this over the peaches, filling the jars and covering them with syrup.
  5. Seal the jars.
