Ingredients

  • okra, sliced for frying
  • meal, plus 2 Tbsp. flour
  • evaporated milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice okra and dip in evaporated milk.
  2. Roll in meal and deep fry in medium-hot oil. Cook small amount at a time.
