Ingredients

  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 c. warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt together.
  2. Add shortening.
  3. Mix until like corn meal.
  4. Add 1/2 cup warm water.
  5. Mix.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon more at a time until it forms a ball.
  7. Let rest 15 minutes.
  8. Shape into a ball.
  9. Roll on a lightly floured surface until round shape forms thin.
  10. Fry in frypan at medium heat until lightly browned or about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
