Butter Bread Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Melt in oven in pan 1/3 cup butter.
  2. Remove as soon as butter is melted.
  3. Sift ingredients together.
  4. Mix together slightly and turn onto floured board.
  5. Knead, roll out and cut into strips with floured knife.
  6. Dip strips well in butter in pan and lay close together in pan.
  7. Bake at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Makes 16 sticks.
