Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in large skillet in a 400° oven. Mix flour and buttermilk. Pour mixture over melted margarine. Use a small glass to make indentions in the dough, but
  2. do not cut through the dough. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. This bread has a very buttery, crusty bottom.
